My name is Lesley, and I am passionate about designing family photo book keepsakes.

• Our Family Photo Books was founded with a mission to help other families preserve their family heritage and make it a legacy to remember.

I've been collecting, storing and collating family photos for over three decades.

Coming from a large family, I have a strong sense of family, an interest in family history, and a fastidious and creative nature. 

My journey to this point started with a primary school photo history project on my Grandmother, venturing into a hobby of a darkroom developing photos. Years later, I combined professional experience in print media, graphic design and photo restoration.

For years I mainly focused on my Father's family history. My Mum's family history seemed to be well documented. One day my mother asked me why I didn't do much on her side of the family, and I could sense her hurt. So we started scanning photos and followed up on some history together.

Sadly my mother has now passed away. The loss of a mother can be very difficult. I processed some of my grief into a family history photo book covering both sides of the family, including photos of 5 generations. I dedicated that book to my parents and gave copies to my Father and six siblings; it was the most heartfelt gift I have given. If we get to meet, I would love to show it to you.
